My name is Javita Nelson, and I am the President of Synergy Insurance Group, a subsidiary of Javita K. Nelson, Inc.
My very first job was at Saver’s Federal Savings & Loan where I worked from June of 1982 – July of 1987 as a Customer Service Representative in the Checking Account Services Department. For the next ten (10) years, I served in several Customer Service roles at Entergy, including as a Customer Service Supervisor in their Call Center and as a National Accounts Specialist.
On June 4, 1997, I made the decision to leave the “corporate world” to start my own business, and I am so thankful that I did! I absolutely love helping individuals and families with such a necessary service! I receive so much gratification knowing that the service I render helps families when they need it most! I am passionate about my business because it is not only the way I make an honest living, but it is also a way for me to serve people using my God-given gifts and talents. Not many people can say that they LOVE what they do, but I can because I truly do!
I did not know it then, but my extensive customer service training was preparing me to serve my own clients in my very own insurance agency, Synergy Insurance Group.
Synergy Insurance Group is an insurance brokerage that has formed partnerships with about 40 of the nation’s top-rated insurance carriers, Independent Marketing Organizations (IMOs), and other organizations that provide exceptional insurance products to individuals and families.
I am currently licensed in 21 states: Alabama, Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Mexico, Ohio, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia. I have educated and helped thousands of consumers in their homes and in group settings since June 4, 1997 by sharing my knowledge of insurance in a fun, down-to-earth way so that the average person can understand. I have been invited to give my educational and scriptural insurance presentation to church congregations, senior citizen centers, and senior apartment complexes with the goal of helping individuals better understand how to use insurance products to benefit their families and communities. Today, I am considered an “Expert Advisor” and have been deemed by several clients to be their “Insurance Superhero!”
I am sincerely grateful for each and every client who has entrusted me to handle their insurance needs, and I show my gratitude in the manner in which I service them after-the-sale! I truly believe that “people do not care how much you know until they know how much you care!”
